What is Vuokatti Cup?
Vuokatti Cup is a hockey tournament series for junior, adult and veteran teams, played at Vuokatti Areena.

At Vuokatti Areena, Opistontie 1, 88610 Vuokatti, Finland.

JUNIORS
When are the junior tournaments played?
The junior tournaments are played at Vuokatti Areena in spring 2027, one age group at a time.
- U9: 20.–21.3.2027
- U10: 2.–4.4.2027
- U11: 2.–4.4.2027
- U12: 9.–11.4.2027
- U13: 16.–18.4.2027
- U15: 23.–25.4.2027
- U14: 30.4.–2.5.2027
What levels are the junior tournaments played at?
U10–U14: AA / AAA. U15: AA / AA+. U9 has no equivalent level split.
How many games does a team play?
The number of games is confirmed per age group.

ADULTS
Who is the adult Vuokatti Cup for?
Teams of every level, from relaxed recreational groups to friend teams with former pros. The level series system makes sure every team plays games at its own level.
How does the adult level series system work?
The tournament starts with a preliminary round. Teams are then split into level series, each playing for its own championship.
When is the adult tournament played?
5.–8.5.2027 at Vuokatti Areena.
Does a team have to start on Wednesday?
No. A team can start on Wednesday or arrive later. The schedule is built flexibly, and for some teams the first games can be placed on Friday morning.
What is the Vuokatti Cup Gala Night?
The shared closing event on Saturday evening, where the champions of every level series are awarded.

Where do teams register for Vuokatti Cup?
Where can I see the entry fee?

How are the junior entry fees determined?
The fee depends on when you register.
- U10–U14: 750 € until 30.9.2026, 800 € 1.10.2026–30.10.2026, 900 € from 1.11.2026
- U15: 950 € until 30.9.2026, 1050 € 1.10.2026–30.10.2026, 1150 € from 1.11.2026
- U9: 300 € / playing group
What does the adult Vuokatti Cup cost?
Early Bird 900 € / team until 30.8.2026. After that 1200 € / team.
What are the cancellation terms?
The 2027 cancellation terms are published per tournament. In case of a cancellation, contact sales@vuokattiareena.fi.
ACCOMMODATION & MEALS
Is accommodation mandatory in the junior tournaments?
In the U12–U15 tournaments the Vuokatti Cup All Inclusive package is a condition of entry. For U9–U11 it is not currently defined as mandatory.
What does the All Inclusive package cost?
89 € / hlö / yö
What does the All Inclusive package include?
The package covers accommodation and meals for the tournament.
- Rooms or apartments for 2–4 people
- Meals from dinner on arrival day to lunch on departure day
- Bed linen
- Towels
- Final cleaning
Where do the teams stay?
The Vuokatti Cup accommodation partners are Break Sokos Hotel Vuokatti and Vuokatti Sport.
What about accommodation for the adult tournament?
Accommodation terms and packages for the 2027 adult tournament are published separately.
Where are the meals served?
Breakfast and evening snack are served at your accommodation. Lunch and dinner are served at Vuokatti Areena.
Are special diets taken into account?
Yes. Special diets and allergies must be reported in advance.
GAMES & RULES
What is the game time in the junior tournaments?
Game time varies by age group.
- U9: 1 × 24 min running time
- U10–U13: 2 × 15 min stop-time, max 45 min
- U14: 3 × 15 min stop-time, max 60 min
- U15: 3 × 20 min stop-time, 2 h 15 min game slot
When is the game schedule published?
The schedule is published once registration closes and the groups are set. Publication date for season 2027: to be announced.
Does a team need two sets of jerseys?
We recommend bringing both light and dark jerseys in case of colour clashes. Age-group specific instructions are confirmed in the tournament guidelines.
Where do I find the tournament rules?
The official 2027 tournament rules are published per tournament before the event.
What is the game time in the adult tournament?
Game time is 2 × 20 min running time. A game lasts a maximum of 45 min.

VUOKATTI AREENA
How many rinks does Vuokatti Areena have?
Two full-size rinks under one roof.
Are there locker rooms for teams at Vuokatti Areena?
There are 12 locker rooms in tournament use, plus separately assigned equipment storage and drying spaces.
Can equipment be left at Vuokatti Areena overnight?
Yes. Overnight equipment storage is arranged for every team for the tournament.
How quickly do we need to clear the locker room after a game?
In about 15 minutes, so the space is free for the next team.
Can tournament players use the swimming pool?
Vuokatti Cup participants have free access to the Vuokatti Areena swimming pool during the tournament, within opening hours. Exact times are announced per tournament.
